What: Bark on Broad 5k-9 (Dog friendly 5k race)

About the event:
Grab your running shoes and pup for a family, fun-filled 5 K-9 event to support Mid-South Canines for Veterans on Saturday, September 23, 2017. MSCV is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that rescues, boards, and trains dogs to become service dogs to U.S. veterans who are diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Help us “save pets for vets”!
ALL DOGS MUST REMAIN ON LEASH WHILE IN THE PUBLIC WAY FOR THIS EVENT. Retractable leashes are not allowed. Female dogs in heat and puppies under the age of 12 weeks are prohibited from this event. All dog owners/handlers assume responsibility for any injury and/or death of a pet or person caused by their pet while participating in this event. Dog owners/handlers certify that their pet is free from infectious diseases and parasites, and shall provide a current rabies certificate upon entry of this event.
Dogs may participate in this event, however, you do so AT YOUR OWN RISK.
No refunds shall be issued.
In the event of inclement weather, or if racers are unable to attend the event, NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
Dog Bandanas will be $5.00 and available for purchase in support of Mid-South Canines for Veterans.
