The Outback has over 100 acres of open space, trails, and ponds for your dog to enjoy off leash. The Outback is a multi-use area where you may encounter runners, hikers, cyclists, and horses. There is a water fountain with dog drinking bowl and dog wash area. The Outback is not fully enclosed so be sure your dog will remain under control and come back when called.
There are entrances to the Outback on the Northeastern side of Shelby Farms Park at gates 11, 12, and 13 off of Trinity Road and Raleigh-Lagrange Road.
Overton Bark is a fully enclosed 1.3 acre dog park located in Midtown Memphis at Overton Park near Rainbow Lake Playground and the Old Forest. There are separate areas for large and small dogs, water fountains, clean up areas, and log benches.
